Description
Rasam prevents formation of gas, and flatulence as it has jeera and pepper and asafoetida. Rasam is rich in antioxidants that prevent the free radical activity. The tamarind is rich in antioxidants that helps keep the skin young and supple. The tomato used in the Rasam comes with its share of antioxidants and vitamin C which further enhances skin health.
Ingredients
Dhoor daal, pepper, cummin seeds, coriander seeds, red chilli, curry leaves, turmeric powder.
Preparation method
Take 1 cup of tamarind juice and one chopped tomato. Heat the oil add mustad, curry leaves, asafoetida, garlic(optional) and fry it. Let it come to boil. Add one spoon of rasam powder . Once boiled switch off the gas and garnish it will coriander leaves.
