Description
Sambar Powder is an aromatic blend of a few lentils and whole spices. These ingredients are dry roasted and then ground to make a powder. This is the only spice that you need to add in your Sambar recipes, and I assure you that it will turn out even better than the other Sambars.
Ingredients
Coriander seeds, red chilli, jeera, Fenugreek, turmeric, curry leaves, dry coconut, Channa daal, boiled rice, fennel seeds, poppy seeds.
Preparation method
Boil 200gms of dhal. Take 2 tablespoon of edible oil, add musard, onion, green chillies, asafoetida curry leaves and fry till golden brown. Take 100hms cut vegetables, 2 tomatoes, tamarind juice, 25gm of sambar powder, salt to taste and cook with boiled dhal for 10 minutes. Now garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Now your sambar is ready to serve.
